A scintillating second half comeback and decimation of a team, see two Group 2 teams through to the semi-finals, while a win for Mayo and draw between Kerry and Donegal means Group 1 will go down to the wire.
This weekend’s games saw Kerry and Donegal unable to be separated as the Group 1 clash ended in a stalemate. Mayo however, finally picked up their first win of the group, against Meath. These results mean that Group 1 go down to the wire with Kerry, Donegal and Mayo chasing the two qualification spots for the semi-finals, with Meath bottom of the group with two losses.
Meanwhile in Group 2, Tyrone produced an outstanding second-half comeback to beat Cork, having being behind in the first half by seven points. This lead Tyrone to their second win of the Super 8s series and guaranteeing their spot in the semi-finals. Dublin hammered Roscommon to return to the last four of the All Ireland stage for the 10th year in a row. Lining up the possibility of a repeat of the 2018 All Ireland Final, provided both teams get through to the final.
